Chief Medical Officer
Dr. Koury is a board-certified emergency physician who has worked clinically for 20 years, most recently in the Fort Wayne, IN market. Prior to that he practiced in Cincinnati and was also an Assistant Professor at the University of Kentucky’s Emergency Medicine Residency Program.
Dr. Koury received his medical degree at the University of Kentucky. He completed an emergency medicine residency at East Carolina University in Greenville, NC. He earned his MBA with a focus in Health Care Management from Indiana Wesleyan University in Fort Wayne, IN. He has written and published several papers in the health care field and presented at several national meetings. While he was part of the faculty at the University of Kentucky, he received the Golden Apple Teacher of the year award and received the honor of best emergency physician in the Fort Wayne network.
