Evanston, WY (March 4, 2025)—The Chartis Center for Rural Health named Evanston Regional Hospital (ERH) to its Top 100 Rural and Community Hospitals list. It is the sixth consecutive year that ERH has earned this national recognition.

“Earning this recognition again is a testament to the dedication of our team of physicians, nurses, and staff,” said Cheri Willard, CEO of Evanston Regional Hospital. “Providing quality care close to home is at the heart of everything we do, and we are honored to be recognized among the nation’s top rural hospitals. We are proud to be a place that Uinta County and beyond can rely on for compassionate, quality care.”

Chartis’ annual Top 100 award program honors outstanding performance among the nation’s rural hospitals based on the results of the Chartis Rural Hospital Performance INDEX®.

“The Top 100 Rural & Community Hospitals award program elevates the very best performers and helps create a roadmap for those seeking to improve financial and operational performance while continuing to care for the communities they serve,” said Michael Topchik, Executive Director of The Chartis Center for Rural Health.

To determine the 2025 list, the firm used the Chartis Rural Hospital Performance INDEX, which assesses performance in inpatient market share, outpatient market share, quality, outcomes, patient perspective, cost, charge, and finance.
