THREE RIVERS MEDICAL CENTER EARNS 5-STAR RATING FOR CLEANLINESS FROM CMS
Louisa, KY (April 30, 2025)—Three Rivers Medical Center has been recognized with a 5-star rating for cleanliness by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), placing it among the top-performing hospitals nationwide in maintaining a safe, sanitary, and patient-centered environment.
The rating is based on data collected from Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) surveys, where patients are asked about the cleanliness of their rooms and bathrooms, among other indicators of care quality.
“We’re incredibly proud to be one of just nine hospitals in Kentucky to earn a 5-star rating for cleanliness,” said Greg Kiser, CEO of Three Rivers Medical Center. “This recognition is a direct reflection of our team’s dedication to cleanliness and to creating a safe and positive patient experience.”
The surveys from this rating period were completed between April 1, 2023, and March 31, 2024.
